State Approval Information for Tennessee

The PhysicalTherapy.com courses below have been approved by the TN APTA as Class I activities and are accepted by the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy. Tennessee will no longer accept courses approved by other state associations or boards.

Significant administrative rule revisions from the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy went into effect on December 29, 2025. These updates impact CEU content, submission requirements, and provider responsibilities. The 10-hour limit for online learning has been removed from the rules, placing less emphasis on live events. All hourly requirements can now be fulfilled by completing Class I activities regardless of format. APTATN has created an FAQ to help with understanding how the changes affect continuing education.

PhysicalTherapy.com offers courses to meet the 4-hour ethics, laws, or regulations compliance requirement.

PhysicalTherapy.com reports to CE Broker for TN-licensed PTs/PTAs/ATs upon request after course completion.

If you are an athletic trainer licensed in Tennessee, please select BOC from the Associations menu. For more information, visit A Guide to Using the PhysicalTherapy.com Library for PTs/PTAs and ATs.
