Fostering Interprofessional Collaborative Practice through Simulation-Based Education
This course reviews methods for integrating computer-based simulation into a physical therapy curriculum to meet competencies related to collaborative practice and clinical skills. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT/PTA.

This course provides an overview of Simucase and examines the benefits of incorporating computer-based simulations into PT and PTA programs. It discusses methodologies for pre-briefing, providing feedback, and debriefing students and explains strategies for integrating simulations into a curriculum. It also discusses initial pilot study results. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT/PTA.
