Dr. Emily Ramon is a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist in physical therapy who works for re+active physical therapy and wellness in Los Angeles, California. In her current role, Emily wears many hats. She is Clinic Director, Director for therapy services for people with Parkinson’s Disease, and a primary mentor in the Schmidt Movement Disorders Fellowship. Emily has a love for academia in addition to clinical practice. She frequently guest lectures at different DPT programs over clinical management skills across various neuro-specific diagnoses and leads advanced movement disorders fellowship education courses.
Emily has served in leadership roles within the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy, including the ANPT Health Promotion and Wellness Committee and the ANPT Telehealth Taskforce. Emily helped develop the ANPT Telehealth Evaluation and Treatment continuing
education series and is a published author in the Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy with her article titled “Addressing Opportunities and Barriers in Telehealth Neurologic Physical Therapy: Strategies to Advance Practice.”
