Physical Therapy Management of the Individual with Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury
Course: #5340Level: Advanced 2 Hours 909 ReviewsThis advanced-level course for physical therapists provides an in-depth exploration of the assessment, prognosis, and intervention strategies for individuals with sensory and motor incomplete spinal cord injuries, with emphasis on the American Spinal Injury Association Impairment Scale and evidence-based prognostic indicators for walking recovery. Through integration of high-intensity gait training principles, functional outcome measurement, and motor-focused interventions, participants will gain the expertise needed to design and implement effective, individualized rehabilitation programs that maximize walking and functional outcomes in this population.
