Christopher Voltmer
PT, DPT, PhD, NCS
Christopher Voltmer, PT, DPT, PhD, NCS, received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York Institute of Technology in 2008. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Academic Achievement Award and the NYPTA Participation Award. Dr. Voltmer has worked in various clinical settings while specializing in Neurological rehabilitation. He has been board-certified as a Neurological Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 2013. He defended his dissertation in March of 2023 and received his PhD from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Voltmer has been a full-time Associate Professor at Touro College since 2014 and teaches the Neurologic curriculum.

Michael Tautonico
PT, DPT, NCS
Michael Tautonico is a full-time faculty member of New York Tech's physical therapy program as an assistant professor after serving as an adjunct instructor in the areas of neurological rehabilitation, kinesiology, manual therapy 1, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Previous academic experience includes being the lead instructor for Physical Therapy Interventions 1 and an adjunct professor for modalities and therapeutic exercise at Touro College. Tautonico also participated on the Touro College Physical Therapy Advisory Board. Clinically, he worked as a therapist at Catholic Home Care, Winthrop University Hospital, Central Island Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Fox Rehabilitation.
Dr. Tautonico is an APTA American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties board-certified neurologic clinical specialist. He was accepted by New York Tech in the 3 + 3 program, which led him to receive his B.S. and doctorate of Physical Therapy. He has taken numerous continuing education courses specializing in neurological rehabilitation, including his LSVT certification for treating patients with Parkinson's Disease. His research areas of interest are Parkinson's Disease interventions and balance and fall prevention.
