There were no visuals and the slides were extremely content heavy making it hard to follow and stay engaged with. I think the clinician is very knowledgeable, but it seemed like she tried to cram 4 hours worth of learning into 2 hours and therefore a lot felt rushed through. I would have loved to have time to actually go through the case study and talk about patient treatment examples from a PT perspective.

This presentation helped me to identify some of my current kids that could have a sensory processing disorder and it has helped me make sense of their low participation in therapy or their resistance to manual facilitation. I will definitely be using some of these strategies within my PT treatments to see what works for my kids. And the pictures and descriptions of each treatment are very helpful.

This course was a great over-view of ASD, tests and measures, overview of Sensory Regulation and Modulation and identifying level of arousal with suggested activities and products. Considering ASD is such a broad diagnosis, I feel that she did an amazing job in 2.5 hours to cover many basics but also give references of additional areas to look into for additional training and learning. Thank you!

I felt that the overview of signs and typical behaviors of children with autism was way too long and repetitive. The slides contained the information and the presenter spoke about each one extensively. I felt the course should be focusing more on the sensory dysfunction and treatment and the first hour of the presentation dragged on and on.
