Animal Physical Therapy CEU Courses for PTs

The practice of Physical Therapy for Animals is one of the fastest growing niche specialty areas within our profession, providing evaluation and treatment of movement disorders caused by disability, injury and disease. This 2 contact-hour course builds upon the prior Introduction to PT for Animals and provides Intermediate Level 1 content on Small (non-Equine) Animals through lecture and slides with images, video, and case studies.

This 2 contact-hour introductory course is designed for Physical Therapists interested in obtaining primary knowledge and fundamental concepts in PT practice for the non-human animal. It serves as a starting point to gain information about this rapidly growing field which is vital in the provision of evaluation and treatment of disability, injury, and medical conditions in many species of animals. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT/PTA.
