I have been using a 1% hydrocortisone cream for phonophoresis with diagnoses such as plantar fascitis. You mention in your presentation on ultraound that is an ineffective treatment option. Is there a good alternative medication that doesn't require a prescription that is still a good conduit for ultrasound?

I would simply go with regular ultrasound & be very aggressive with the heating to increase the tissue elasticity & be sure to address the gastroc/soleus flexibility since it is continuous with the plantarfascia.
