I found that the instructors mmm’kay after every other sentence very distracting. Challenging to visualize treatments through pictures and mouse pointing; short videos would have been easier to follow.

The explanations, content, approach, reference to past clinical work, and reflection on current body of literature and supported treatment methods were helpful and easy to follow. When it comes to improving effectiveness and confidence in the hands-on skills of posterior pelvic girdle pain treatment, in-person training and practice is obviously useful... would rate "excellent" if more discussion on promoted treatment methods in residencies/fellowships/ evolving PT programs, etc.

My experience treating after learning from highly experienced osteopathic physicians conflicts with this presentation. She is teaching treatment techniques without the pre/post testing or dysfunction specificity that I am accustomed to, but she has chosen techniques that are often effective when used for the appropriate dysfunction. I like her scientific approach, but I would be more convinced if the doctors I know had done the research she is basing her evidence on.

The instructor shared many treatment techniques, particularly manual MET/mobilization but did not give a rationalization as to why this would be used in this situation. Much more of a shotgun approach to manual therapy which I would disagree with.

I have taken one other course taught by Jennifer Stone. Both were well-documented, well-taught, and had great applicability to the therapeutic setting, even if one is not working in a clinic dedicated specifically to core stabilization. Also, I always appreciate the photos of her family that she includes with her courses. It is exemplary of what her teaching communicates - that she is a personable and caring individual, and therefore a personable and caring PT.
