What’s #NEXT2014?

It that time again - APTA Conference, which is now, called the NEXT conference.  This year it will be held in Charlotte, and I will be in attendance in events like hopefully several of you will be too.  For those of you that have never been, it is definitely the smaller of the two conferences the APTA puts on every year, but there are some great courses each year. Regardless of whether you are able to attend, you can keep track of conference happenings by following @APTAnext on Twitter or searching hashtag #NEXT2014.

What’s Next on PhysicalTherapy.com?

Speaking of great courses, I am very pleased to announce our two-part series we are going to have later this month on infant positioning.  Dr. Stacey Dusing will be presenting on both assessment and intervention strategies including ways to encourage caregivers to play an active role in infant positioning.  The live webinars will be held on June 17 and 24 at 12 pm Eastern - register today!  If you cannot attend, but would like to ask Dr. Dusing a question, please email me the question, and time permitting we will have her answer your question.

Tell Us What’s Next!

We want to hear from you…our members!  The summer is the beginning of planning for 2015 courses.  Email me recommendations of presenters, topic areas and/or specific courses you would like on PhysicalTherapy.com.  It is our goal to have equal access to quality education to further the knowledge base of clinicians and ultimately improve our patients’ function.
