Over the next month or two we have some exciting new courses and big announcements. We can't wait to share what is coming up next with PhysicalTherapy.com!
In the meantime, golf season is in full swing this month. Whether you are an avid golfer or have no interest in the sport, chances are you will treat several patients who are involved with the sport. According to a study by the National Golf Foundation, published in 2009, there are 28.6 million golfers above the age of 6 in the United States. A large part of golf is maintaining the correct posture before, after and during swing as well as strengthening specific muscle groups. Proper length tension is key for any person, especially an athlete to achieve optimal performance without pain. We offer several courses to assist in treating patients who are active in golf at any level.
Check out these video courses presented by Maurie Steinley, PT, DSc, SCS:

As always, we love to hear feedback from our members, especially as we begin to work on our 2014 calendar of evidence based courses. We would love your input on speakers or topics of interest. Feel free to email me anytime or connect us with us via Facebook or Twitter.
