August is a month when we celebrate our youngest and oldest generations. The back-to-school season begins during the month of August, but perhaps not as well known is the fact that August 21 was proclaimed National Senior Citizen Day in 1998 by President Ronald Regan. So while many of us may be preparing children for the new school year (or returning to work in a school setting ourselves), let's remember to make time for those seniors in our lives, and perhaps explore one of the geriatric courses in our expansive course library at PhysicalTherapy.com.
