- Participants will be able to identify at least three wound coverings that may be useful in treating hand and upper extremity burns through the healing process.

Nora Barrett has 21 years of OT practice and 12 years of experience as a CHT. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and has an Advanced Certification in Hand & Upper Quarter Rehab from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Nora has focused her clinical practice in hand and upper extremity trauma, burn injury and wounds through hospitals and outpatient clinics in Boston, MA, Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD and now Bend, OR. Nora has presented nerve, multi-trauma and wound/burn topics at various courses and conferences throughout the country and co-authored the Wound Chapter in the upcoming 7th edition of Rehabilitation of the Hand & Upper Extremity, Elsevier, Philadelphia, PA.
