All women should be evaluated by a physical therapist in the immediate postpartum period. This course will explain the rationale for the postpartum physical therapy examination, describe the components of this specialized exam, and demonstrated technique for examination and treatment of disorders identified in the postpartum examination. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT and PTA.



Editor's Note: Regarding Pennsylvania credits, this course is approved by the PA State Board of Physical Therapy for .5 hour of Direct Access CE credit and 1.5 hour of General CE Credit from 7/15/17-12/31/18.
