She is a wealth of knowledge and experience. She said a few things that differed from a previous instructor about bed alarms. I would have like more review of current literature or studies...I know she referenced them, but maybe a few slides summarizing a survey of their findings. Lastly more anatomy models on the slides when describing the dysfunctions would be helpful.

The content was presented in a way that was easy to understand. I especially appreciated that so much discussion was centered around consent, parent education, and meeting the needs of the family. I think many courses present info that can only be implemented under perfect conditions and I appreciated that this course addressed the fact that both children and families will sometimes refuse or be unable to carry out a treatment.

I would actually love to take a more thorough course on the subject now. I will be looking her up to see if I can make it happen. It was such practical information and even without taking another course, I feel like I could make a difference in my patients lives starting immediately. I loved the background information, but especially loved the interventions section. I had no idea how much of a difference I could make without actually being invasive. I will be pursuing this subject further

Compared to other courses by this presenter and on physicaltherapy.com, this course did not go in as much depth as I had hoped and seemed very surface level. I learned some things - but I would say this was an "average" course not above and beyond like I'd hoped. I wish there was less focus on medical management (while I think it's important to mention that aspect - I wish more time had been spent on case studies, evaluation and treatment).
