This introduction to Infant Massage will encompass setting the environment, initiating sessions and basic strokes. It will include an exploration of the benefits of Infant Massage for both child and caregiver.

This advanced level course will explore clinical reasoning following traumatic flexor tendon injuries to the upper extremity. From the mechanism of injury to the progression of therapy, participants will be challenged to use clinical data to drive treatment planning and measure outcomes.

This course will investigate three common FOOSH (fall on outstretched hand) injuries. The wrist detective will learn methods used in diagnosing these injuries, factors associated with greater severity of injury and both surgical intervention and rehabilitation post surgically.

Developing a treatment plan for multi-trauma hand and upper extremity injuries can be complicated. This lecture will present evidence-based treatment for bony and soft tissue structures, as well as strategies to develop a treatment plan that protects all involved structures.

This 2-part series will address basic information for creating and modifying custom thermoplastic orthotics for the upper extremity. Education learned from this series will be beneficial to those working in all types of settings. Part 2 will review hand based thumb spica and intrinsic plus ulnar gutter orthotics with video demonstrations provided.Editor's note: There is no sound in the videos.

This course presents Alternative and Augmentative Communication. Definitions, terminology, access methods and strategies to optimize use will be addressed. Mounting and interfacing with power wheelchairs will also be presented.

This course presents cognitive technologies which are designed to increase independence and safety for clients with cognitive impairments. Content includes definitions and categories of equipment, as well as examples.
