Course Abstract

This presentation will instruct the participants on common golf injuries and associated physical limitations. Common injury inducing swing faults will also be presented. Return to play concepts will be discussed.

Maurie Steinley, PT, DSc, SCS

 

Maurie is a 1989 graduate of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND with a bachelor of science in physical therapy.   He is a 2003 graduate of Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, UT with a Doctor of Science in Sports Specialty Physical Therapy.  Maurie has spent the majority of his clinical practice in outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine and is a board certified Sports Clinical Specialist.  He has developed golf performance programs and trained with the Titleist Performance Institute through level 2 medical and fitness.
