information was good, but treatment techniques seemed more geared towards athletes. i treat a lot of chronic pain patients and im not sure my patient population could tolerate or could understand the way i want them to move: or feel comfortable in moving freely.

I really like aquatic therapy. I think it has a tremendous place in my field as an athletic trainer. Unfortunately, lots of times ATC's do not have the resources to carry out these types of therapies. But this course gave me some insight on how to become an aquatic therapy facilitator and encouraged me to pursue obtaining this certification.

The presenter lacks evidence to support the claims made. For example, she states that the technique may lessen acute pain but provides no evidence other than personal experience. The reference list is primarily made up of links to articles on her website that encourages participants to enroll in a seminar for a fee. Results from one pilot study with healthy, young adults is presented but there is a minimal description of study methods or other way to assess internal validity. At the end of the presentation clinicians are encourage you to enroll in a facilitator course. Seemed like and infomercial.
